Servier Research Grant in Hypertension – €30,000

Awarded biennially, the Servier Research Grant supports innovative research proposals in the field of hypertension.

Submission Requirements:

Research Proposal: Please submit a concise proposal including the following sections: title, background, preliminary work in the field, project description (including timelines and work packages), budget, and references. A template is available on the ESH website.
Additional Documents: Applicants must also provide their CV and specify the institution where the research will be conducted.

Eligibility:

Open to PhDs or MDs under the age of 45 as of July 1 in the award year.

Selection Process:

The ESH Awards Committee will thoroughly review all submissions and select the recipient.

Award Details:

The grant will be presented to the winner during the official Award Ceremony at the 2025 ESH Annual Meeting on May 25, 2025, in Milan, Italy.

ESH Summer School

ESH Summer School 2025 – Call for Nominations (Deadline: March 1, 2025)

The ESH 2025 Summer School will take place in Särö (Gothenburg), Sweden, from September 14 to September 19, 2025. This year, the Society will nominate two candidates who are members. This unique opportunity is designed for younger candidates, particularly PhD students, who are deeply committed to the field of hypertension.

Candidates are required to submit an abstract or poster in advance, which they will present during the school. The 2025 ESH Summer School promises an engaging format that fosters interaction between participants and the ESH faculty.

All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by ESH and the Norwegian Society of Hypertension. To apply, please send a short application along with your CV and publication list (in English) to the secretary Anne Cecilie Larstorp (e-mail) by March 1, 2025.

Join us for the Biannual Scientific Winter Meeting of the Norwegian Society of Hypertension (Norsk Hypertensjonsforening, NHF).

State-of-the-Art Lectures: Gain insights from leading experts in the field.
Abstract Presentations: Discover new research findings.
Debate on Blood Pressure Guidelines: ESH or ESC? Engage in this critical discussion.

Following the scientific program, we will hold the general assembly and board elections. This session is open to all members who have paid their annual dues.

The 34th European Meeting on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Protection

The 34^th European Meeting on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Protection (ESH 2025) will be held in Milan at the MICO Congress Center, on May 23-26, 2025.

The 2025 Milan Meeting will continue to follow the successful ESH conference format adopted in Berlin for the ESH 2024 Edition, with the aim to promote a larger interactive participation of faculty and audience. Particular attention will be paid to Young Investigator initiatives as well as to national and international Scientific Societies actively working in the field of hypertension and related diseases. The Norwegian Society og Hypertension supports abstract presentations (oral or poster) at the ESH 2025 meeting with up to €1200 (after submission of travel invoice and documentation of expenses).

Call for admission to PhD Program at the University of Padua

Call for admission to a PhD program in ARterial HYpertension and VAscular Biology (ARHYVAB) at the University of Padua (Italy).

The PhD Course, which is a joint PhD with the University of Rome Sapienza and the University of Pisa, is entirely in English. The deadline is May 13th, 2024.

As well and physicians, applicants with a degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry and technology, biotechnologies, biology, bioengineering and other non-medial disciplines are welcome to apply.
