Norsk HypertensjonsforeningIDA-studien is now recruiting patients with uncontrolled hypertension and ≥ 2 antihypertensive drugs in Oslo, Trondheim and Tromsø. The study center in Bergen opens in March 2020. For more information on how to refer your patients, see www.idastudien.no.
We are happy to report a very successful National Course in Hypertension with 41 participants hosted by Prof. Eva Gerdts and the Norwegian Society of Hypertension at Haukeland University Hospital January 30th and 31st 2020. The next course will be held in Tromsø in January 2022. The course is mandatory for candidates specializing in Nephrology.
European Society of Hypertension Summer School in 2020 will be held from September 12-18 in Sremski Karlovci in Serbia. The venue is located a 30-minute drive from Belgrade airport and the local organizer is Prof. Dragan Lovic. The Summer School will be more interactive this year. Please nominate your trainees or PhD candidates for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Accommodation and meals will be covered by the ESH and the Norwegian Society will pay for travel by the most inexpensive possible alternative for members.
